Wymondham's annual Dickensian Evening, organised by the Wymondham Lions, has been running for over 20 years and marks the towns official Christmas lights switch on. As part of the festivities, and as usual, Wymondham Baptist Church will also be throwing open it's doors and offering hot drinks, cakes and more Christmas Carols played by the Wymondham Area School's Brass Band. We warmly welcome you to drop in for a cuppa! The event is the official start of the Christmas festivities in Wymondham, and the evening will start with the tradional lantern procession through the town, leaving Back Lane at 6.15pm. Leading the procession will be the City of Norwich Pipe Band followed by Father Christmas and the Wymondham Mayor in an open Landau Coach. The excellent Norfolk Constabulary Choir will also be on hand to add to the Christmas mood, and a new attraction this year will see some exciting ica sculptures. Other popular attractions include:
It's a great evening for everyone, and we hope to welcome you to Wymondham Baptist Church.
